Choosing a route is about more than the location name. Browsing, remote work and streaming each place different demands on a connection. Try opening the sites you use most on your usual network, then check page loads, file transfers and video playback before deciding which routes to keep handy. A nearby location can be a useful starting point, but it is not always the fastest option. Your local provider, time of day and the destination website’s location can all affect performance.

IEPL dedicated, relayed and direct routes describe different network configurations; they are not a universal ranking for every use case. The options available in your client depend on your current subscription. This table introduces common destinations and does not guarantee that a platform will always offer the same content. If content still appears unchanged after switching locations, check your split-tunneling rules and app cache before assuming it is a route issue. Use the status list as a guide, then verify performance on your own network.

Think beyond the connection

Common needs for cross-border access

Considering routes, encryption and devices together can save you from repeated setup changes. VPNStay brings these everyday needs into one subscription.

During the evening rush,
find a route that fits

After work, streaming a show or organizing files can be frustrating when a connection keeps speeding up and slowing down. VPNStay offers a choice of international routes, so when one is congested, you can try another location or route type to find a better fit for your network. Don’t rely on a single test—open the apps you normally use and check how pages load and videos play over time. Evening performance also depends on your local network and the service you’re accessing. Keep a route that works well for everyday use, with an alternative ready, rather than repeatedly changing your entire setup.

Military-grade encryption,
with a focus on connection security

When handling work files on a shared network, it’s worth checking your connection security. VPNStay uses military-grade encryption to protect cross-border data transfers over an encrypted connection. Also check that the client is connected, your apps are using the intended route, and the destination website uses a secure connection. Encryption does not replace account security: keep your password and subscription link safe, and never post them in public forums. Download the client, get your subscription and manage your account through the VPNStay user dashboard to make follow-up checks easier.

Unlimited devices,
set up your way

Work on documents at your computer, then pick up where you left off on a mobile device—without juggling device limits. VPNStay allows unlimited simultaneous connections and supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Get the right client and subscription for each platform from the user dashboard, then check the connection status on each device. More devices do not mean separate data allowances, so consider your overall usage when choosing a plan. Interfaces vary by operating system; set up the devices you use most first, then add others as needed to make configuration issues easier to pinpoint.

Using AI tools? Check regional availability and rules first

When opening an AI tool, page loading and account access are two separate things to check. Make sure the service supports your account and current region, then choose a suitable route and confirm your browser and app follow the intended split-tunneling rules. If only one tool is unavailable, there’s no need to rush into reinstalling the client. Check whether other sites work first to narrow down the issue. Account requirements, regional availability and usage policies are set by each platform; a network connection does not override them.

Streaming video? Test the content you want to watch

For international streaming, the connection is only part of the picture. Account region, content licensing and app cache matter too. Choose a destination, open the show you plan to watch, and check that it’s available and plays smoothly. Browser and app behavior can also differ when split-tunneling rules aren’t set as expected. VPNStay provides routes for cross-border access; platform libraries are not guaranteed. What you can watch depends on the platform’s current rules and your own checks. If something doesn’t work, follow the streaming guide to troubleshoot it step by step.

60-day refund policy

Whether a service works for the long term depends on your own network and devices. VPNStay offers a 60-day refund policy. Once connected, test the everyday things that matter to you: whether your usual sites load, work apps function, videos play smoothly and the connection behaves as expected when switching devices. If the service doesn’t meet your needs, submit a ticket from the user dashboard with your order details and refund request. Check the refund policy for eligibility and process details. Reviewing it before payment can make any follow-up clearer.

Get the client

For your first setup, create an account with a username and password—no email required. Sign in to the user dashboard, choose a client for your device, select a suitable plan and get your subscription. Once it’s imported, refresh the route list, choose a location and connect. Then test the result with a site you use regularly. Don’t rely on the connection icon alone to confirm that everything is configured correctly; actual access is a better indicator.

If a subscription update fails, an app doesn’t use the selected route, or the connection drops when a mobile app goes into the background, keep your current settings and troubleshoot the specific symptom. Avoid changing everything at once. Follow Quick Start for your first connection. If you already have a setup and need to identify an issue, go straight to Troubleshooting and find the steps that match what you’re seeing.

Choose a plan for your usage

Monthly plans and data bundles

For regular use, consider a monthly plan; for occasional use, look into data bundles. Estimate your data needs first, then compare prices—there’s no need to choose based only on the number of devices.

60GB / month

Light everyday use

¥9.9/month

For web browsing, research and lighter office tasks, this plan can help you assess your everyday data needs.

  • 60GB, reset monthly on the activation date
  • Unlimited simultaneous devices
  • 60-day refund policy

250GB / month

Everyday devices

¥18/month

For a mix of work, study and streaming, check your usage in the dashboard to see whether this data allowance suits you.

  • 250GB, reset monthly on the activation date
  • Unlimited simultaneous devices
  • 60-day refund policy

500GB / month

More data

¥28/month

If you often transfer files or stream video, consider this plan. Your actual usage will depend on how you use the service.

  • 500GB, reset monthly on the activation date
  • Unlimited simultaneous devices
  • 60-day refund policy
Choose this plan

Data bundles: use as needed, never expire

¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB

If you need cross-border access only for specific projects, work trips or occasional research, consider a data bundle. Unlike a plan that resets monthly, bundle data stays available until you use it and never expires. Don’t compare a bundle’s price directly with a monthly fee. First consider whether you need a regular connection or only use it from time to time.

Monthly plan data resets on the activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Before choosing a plan, think about your usual activities: browsing text, transferring files and streaming video use data differently, and having more devices doesn’t necessarily mean you need a higher tier. Pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT. Confirm the plan details and order information in the user dashboard.

Questions to consider before getting started

Accounts, devices and refunds

Review the usage rules before deciding how to get started. Find more answers about connections and billing by category in the Help Center.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details safe; you’ll need to access the user dashboard to download the client, get your subscription and view orders. Your subscription contains personal connection details, so don’t display or share it on public pages.

How many devices can I connect at once?

There’s no limit on simultaneous devices. VPNStay supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Install the appropriate client and import your subscription on each device. When choosing a data plan, consider how you actually use all your devices rather than just counting them.

What’s the difference between a monthly plan and a data bundle?

Monthly plan data resets on the activation date; data bundles last until used and never expire. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Occasional and regular use call for different options. Compare the terms side by side on the plans page and choose the billing option that fits your needs.

Which payment methods are supported, and how do refunds work?

Pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT. A 60-day refund policy is available. Read the refund policy before paying to check eligibility and process details. To request a refund, submit your order information and request through the ticket section of the user dashboard. Don’t include your password or subscription link in a public attachment.

A website still won’t open after connecting. What should I check first?

First, check whether your local network can access the sites you normally use. Then confirm that the client subscription is up to date, the route is connected and the target app is using the intended connection. If only one site is affected, consider the service’s regional and account requirements too. Try another route for comparison. If the issue persists, note what happened using the troubleshooting guide, then submit a ticket with your device’s operating system, client messages and the steps you’ve already tried.
